Trap Girl hail from Los Angeles and their gritty but thought provoking music is more punk than the entire city combined. The songs are catchy and pro-trans/queer/antirape/pro-sexwork. You get the idea.
In 2018 they released a cover of New Kind of Kick by The Cramps and they did it so well that would make the late Lux Interior very proud.
Now available is their new EP titled TransAmerican Chokehold. The band keeps their signature punk sound with a bit more aggression that previous releases. They plan on playing several shows in 2020 and if you have the chance to see them do not miss out! Follow their bandcamp and facebook for more info.
