Kelli Frances Corrado is a supreme blend of Kate Bush-esq vocals (and maybe a little Lingua Ignota) mixed with an experimental, darkwave electronic sound that is unique, haunting and beautiful all at once.
Kelli, a Chicago native, has a long list of unique attributes which help you understand how her music is so mystic. She is trained in Opera, and would spend Sundays learning prayer rituals taught by a Bohemian Czech grandmother. She records in unusual places like sea planes and boathouses, and her first tour was sponsored by The Grammy Foundation. All of this leads to her sound which is a breath of fresh air in a sometimes stale music genre. Sometimes I say that if "120 Minutes" was still a show on MTV, this artist would be on it. Kelli certainly would.
Kelli's new song, Webs and Whispers, is described by her:
"Webs and Whisphers was crafted between heaven and earth. The flight path where intuition and courage lie. A prayer ritual to ground me from the webs and whisphers of misinformation, media over saturation and kaos."
