Manic Relapse Fest

April 24-26th, 2020 in Oakland California

The sheer scope of Manic Relapse is something truly to be admired—presenting an international vision of punk spanning multiple generations and styles. One of the few DIY Punk festivals in the country, the lineup in its 8th year is sure not to be missed.

Legions of Metal Festival

May 15th and 16th, Chicago, Il

Legions of Metal Festival was born out of the end of the Ragnarokkr Metal Apocalypse Festival. The new fest takes place annually at Reggies in Chicago and focuses on new and old traditional style metal, punk and glam. Headlining this year is the RODS from Rochester, but make sure to also check out the fab women in the bands playing.

Northwest Terror Fest

May 28 - May 30, 2020 at Neumo's & Barboza in Seattle, WA

Northwest Terror Fest is a 3-day music festival that takes place every year during the last weekend of May deep in the heart of Seattle. The festival draws from sub-genres which are spread across a wide musical spectrum; its ever-evolving sound has historically been rooted in black metal, doom, grindcore, hardcore and death metal with a sprinkling of prog and psychedelic tones.

Monolith on the Mesa

May 28-29-30 Taos, New Mexico

Monolith on the Mesa is a “High Desert Experience” that is an independent 2nd year 3 day festival that is being hosted on the grounds of Taos Mesa Brewing and Hotel Luna Mystica in Taos, New Mexico (8 miles from the town of Taos). The festival is focused around the heavy rock genre (Heavy Psych, Stoner, Retro Rock, Sludge, Space Rock, Doom, Drone) as well as installation art along with visuals projected around the compound. Music inspires art, as well as art inspiring music. It is limited to 1,500 tickets and will be an intimate performance.

Maryland Doom Fest

June 18th - 21st, 2020 in Frederick, MD

Bringing both U.S. and international artists from all over the map into Frederick, MD for a full four days of mayhem, featuring the legendary Cirith Ungol and Blood Ceremony, to Speedealer and Mondo Generator set to headline the four nights of top shelf doom metal and heavy underground sounds! The heavyweight headliner lineup now includes Boston riffmasters Worshipper

Metal Immortal Fest 2

June 20th, 2020 in Pittsburgh, PA (Pre-fest June 19th)

Deb Levine from the band LadyBeast understands the importance of metal and gender equality, so she created a fest dedicated to it. In its second year, this fest is shaping up to become one of the best metal festivals in the country. Traditional, Death, Thrash metal all come together for one day of non-stop rock.

Savage Mountain Punk Festival

August 6,7,8 2020 in Frostburg, Maryland

This DIY Punk fest hasn't announced any bands just yet, but we have no worry they are going to have some awesome bands featuring awesome women. They always have and it seems to be one of the most gender equal fest in the country.
