San Francisco's heavy doom ridden trio, Brume, are giving us new music. This will be the spilt with Seattle's Witchripper and can be pre-ordered on Brume's website here. Brume is led by bass player/vocalist Susie McMullan. Check out the band bio below and a video from their 2017 performance at Desertfest. We will get a new full-length from them come October.
"Brume were brought into existence when guitarist Jamie McCathie left the UK to join Sussie McMullan (bass/vocals), with the goal being the creation of heavy doom music. That event took place in the beginning of 2014, and it really seems like this band is working fast. Since then, they were joined by drummer Jordan Perkins-Lewis, finalising the Brume line-up and readying to unleash their debut album." - CVLT NATION
Their debut EP, Donkey, was released in 2015 on When Planets Collide and DHU Records. After a west coast tour they headed back into the studio with Billy Anderson. Their first LP, Rooster, was released April 20, 2017 through DHU Records and Doom Stew Records. They followed up with a UK tour and an appearance at Desertfest. In 2018 the band performed across the mid west and southern states along with a second European tour. On March 15, 2019 they released a split with Seattle’s Witch Ripper through DHU. They return to the studio to record their second LP, Rabbits, in April 2019.
